About me
I work to understand how animal behaviour responds to environmental variation, mainly temperature. I use terrestrial vertebrates as model organisms. Climate change and habitat destruction for human purposes are modifying the behaviour of all animals and threating their survival.

Besides the value of nature by itself -which would be enough for me-, it is clear that we need to achieve a respectful relationship with nature to be able to live a suitable future. I believe women will have a great part on achieving a sustainable society.

That is why I also work for gender equality in science and leadership for a better future. I have been selected to participate in Homeward Bound, a revolutionary project for building a network of 1,000 women scientific leaders to work together for a sustainable future.
